Easiest Kurkure


Kurkure is one of the most loved snack of India. Since the childhood, I remember asking my mom to just buy me kurkure and that was it for me to have delight. 

Still, everytime my mom goes out, i always ask her to buy me kurkure. Nothing has changed. And its beautiful. 


Today i'm going to show you the easiest recipe of Kurkure which is easy homemade and obviously delicious and crunchy. 


As we all are quarantining and working from home. This is all we need. A snack which is easy to make, fast and delicious.


Let's start with the recipe

   Serving- 4 people.

   Time taken 25 minutes.


The recipe requires for 

  • 1 cup rice flour

  • 1 cup water

  • Salt

  • Red chilli Powder

  • Peri peri masala

  • Red food colour (optional)


The recipe begins with adding water in a deep pan and heating it at medium flame. 

Now we gonna add the rice flour and mix it so no lumps are formed. Now we are going to add red chilli powder and food colour to the rice flour mixture. 

Mix the whole mixture. Turn the gas off and let the mixture be sit for a while with lid on top.


After 10 minute, grease your hand with oil and have the mixture and knead it for a while until smooth. 


Once done, take small ball of dough and make the desired shape. Heat the oil for frying in deep pan. 


Fry out the Kurkure sticks and season them with salt red chilli powder and peri peri masala mix.
